New days ahead :)

A lot has changed in my life since the last post. God has been so good, working in my life like I have never experienced before.  The last time I blogged, everything seemed crazy, no rhyme or reason for life. Now, my life has meaning.

My oldest Sean is off to Bible College. He attends West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, Ca. He is enjoying life there and it seems God is working in a mighty way in his life. He has a girlfriend, her  name is Katie. They are really cute together. :)

My youngest, Tyler is in the 10th grade at Penn High School. He is doing well. He played football for Penn.  Now he is playing Rugby and loves it! I am so thankful he has tried something new and loves it.. :)
This is Tyler's football photo, don't have a Rugby one yet.

I am doing so much better. God has been so good. No, life is not how I visioned it years ago when I got married. But things happen that one has no control over and then one must move on. So I have. It's been a process of many things, getting a job, finding a church, making new friends, just starting over. The church we found is such a huge blessing! Highland Park Baptist Church was just what I needed. Never did I think I would find a church who loves and cares for people like this one does. Never did I think that Pastor's really care, but some really do! It's not been easy, I've had to grow a lot and I had to let God work in my life. And, boy He has! :)  Last month I got real with God, I gave him my heart, my life. For the first time in my life I truly trusted in Him and boy has my life changed. :)
I believed before, I knew all the right things to say and do, but I never really truly trusted Him, I never believed He would really take care of me, never believed He loved me. In my mind He loved everyone but me. How that works, I'm not sure and it's not true, He loves everyone! :)
The peace in my life that I was missing, has been found. Life has never been better. :)

Championship Game :))

Tyler's team won the West TN. Championship game on Thursday night in Memphis.
Tyler plays for the Dyer Co. High School,
Freshman & JV team.

Tyler has a broken hand, but the last 2 games he has taken off the cast so he would be able to play. He played center. He did a mighty fine job, too! Mom's opinion!! :) He started all season, until the last game. Due to the fact he missed 2 practices b/c of the cast on his hand - he did not start the Championship game!  Tyler went in the game in the 3rd qt. DC was down 8-0. As soon as they put Tyler in he cleared the way for them to score. :)  With about 8 sec. left on the clock with the score tired, DC had the ball with 4th and 1... We had to go for it! And they sure did, the QB threw it into the end zone, as the DC kid went up caught the ball, and landed in the end zone with 0 time left on the clock! What an amazing ending!!

That's Tyler in the middle. :)
That's Tyler blocking #40 What a fun season to watch these boys play. They are a great group of boys who followed what the coaches said. It wasn't a I team, it was a Team effort! Great Job to the Dyer Co. Choctaws!!!  I recieved this from Tyler's coach...

Well he did a great job.  He went in and allowed us to run the ball and tie the score.  He had a lot to do with us tieing the score and getting the eventual win last night.  I am very proud of him and that group of boys.

That is very cool!! Go Tyler!!! and the rest of the DC Freshman Team!!! If these boys stay with it, DC in a couple years could have a great team!!
